Digital Art

Ok, so recently I've been drawing using my tablet and trying to figure out how to create art digitally. It has been tough so far because of various problems but I've sorted out most of the technical problems. My problems now are just learning the program, getting used to drawing with a tablet, and learning to color. I still don't know how to use some tools or do stuff with the canvas but I'm slowly learning. I feel really awkward drawing with the tablet and can't really do detailed lines or finalized lines since they always come out really shaky. I also, embarrassingly, lose track of the pen and where it is when it's a smaller size :S.I really want to start creating my art with color rather than having a completely black and white gallery but I have no real sense of how to do it except painting it on and sort of darkening shadowed areas...
